I didn't know Shirley in High School, but did meet her on this site where we became friends.  She would always comment on anything I posted and I, in turn, would respond back to her.  Then one day I didn't hear from her any more.  I tried to contact her several times but didn't hear back.

So sorry to hear of her passing.  I enjoyed our conversations and will truly miss her!

Rest in Peace Shirley

My thoughts and prayers go out to Shirley's family.  I'm glad I got to spend time with her at our 55th reunion, and that she was doing okay at that time.  Reminds me of a verse I used yesterday,  "May your day be filled with yesterday's memories, today's joys, and tomorrow's dreams." that I send to all our classmates who are still with us.  Find some happiness in today.   Carol Bennefield

I'm so sorry to hear about Shirley. I had no idea that she was sick. She came to our last reunion a few months ago with her daughter. I talked to her and her daughter for awhile. She was a good piano player and accompanied us in Chorus. She will be missed.
