UNM. Started and ran an Engineering/Contracting business for 30 years and escaped a few years back.
Presently retired from - FPE Consultant/Professional Diver.
We love travel, boating and diving, cruising and playing with our grandkids.

We travel a lot but no place beats home...the mountains, the New Mexican food and NM blue skies and sun. Remember that smell of roasting chiles in the fall? Yeah, like that...

Happy birthday to the lady that remembers everyone else's birthday. You make having birthdays fun!

Remember, birthday's are NOT the problem, it's the lack of them...

Enjoy the moments!

Congratulations on your retirement, Lou! Your many years of outstanding service to the City of Albuquerque and to our Veterans speak volumes about who you are. Our class has so many who have contributed to the wellbeing of others and you among them are a star. Thank you!

Taking the grandkids to Pearl Harbor. They were 'blown' away and wanted to spend the whole day taking it in. We have to teach them the history that they don't get in school anymore.

Diving in Little Cayman on Bloody Bay Wall, I met some interesting new friends. Although most grouper aren't this friendly, the Nassau Grouper here are called 'reef puppies' for their friendly behavior. Jerry (Grouper) wanted me to help him catch the fish under that rock!

Dakuwaqa's Garden - Underwater footage from Fiji & Tonga

I did not shoot this video, but this is what we see in the 'Bligh Waters' in Fiji. Some of the most beautiful soft coral in the world! Thanks to Professional Videographer Nick Hope.

The music is "In the Meadows" by Stephen Richard Thomas Brown, under a Creative Common license

Dakuwaqa is a shark-god from Fijian mythology.

Galapagos 2013

Dive Trip Galapagos 2013 - 13 divers on board a dive boat for 11 days of diving. Everyone on the trip took video, but our friend from Switzerland: Christian Meier won the prize for the best presentation. He did this while onboard our liveaboard, Impressive! Thanks Christian! This is a great look at what we saw both above the water and below.

Sharks, seals, turtles, mantas, Molas, penguins...Galapagos has it all. A ten star dive trip! And check out the Galapagos Dragons (marine iguanas) at the end of the film. Did you ever wonder where they got the idea for Godzilla?
