Cappuccilli -- Gino G. Cappuccilli, 54, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord, Friday, march 24, 2000. He was born on March 3, 1946 in Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl L. Cappuccilli Sr. of Albuquerque; and his step-father, Fabian J. Carney of El Paso, TX. He is survived by his loving mother, June E. Carney of El Paso, TX; a brother, Carl R. Cappuccilli of San Jose, CA; and two sons, Giovani, 5 and Royce, 4 of Flagstaff, AZ. Gino was a respected uncle to Jeffrey, Christopher, Michael and Nicholas Cappuccilli and Gina M. Wagley. Gino's livelihood was automobiles. He built, raced, customized, bought and sold them. He also engineered and built concept vehicles for new car manufacturers. He first developed his passion for automobiles as a youngster, racing in soap box derbies. He loved the great outdoors, big game hunting and fishing. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be given at Calvary Chapel Southeast, 1215 Hazeldine SE, Albuquerque, on Thursday, April 6, 2000, at 3:00 p.m. A reception will follow for family and friends.
