MICHAEL -- Joseph A. Michael II, DDS, passed away Monday, September 25, 2006 due to an accident. He is survived by his wife, Jennine; his daughter, Jina Michael of Albuquerque; mother, Bonnie; brother, Timothy; sister, Theresa Ruth and husband, Dr. Darlo Vander Wilt, both of Albuquerque; in addition to many nieces, nephews; as well as grandnieces and grandnephews. Mr. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Joseph A. Michael, Sr. He was born in Albuquerque and graduated from Valley High School, the University of New Mexico and the University of Alberta Dental School. Mr. Michael was a member of the New Mexico Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He was a devoted husband and father and prominent dentist who practiced up to the time of his death. His practice will continue by the generous help of his colleagues. Mr. Michael was an avid swimmer and loved playing the piano. He was a friend to many and will be sorely missed. Our thoughts will always be with you, and you will stay in our hearts forever. We wish to express our appreciation to the adult intensive care team at Presbyterian Hospital for their kind care. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Rosary will be recited Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, 11:00 a.m., at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 12500 Carmel Ave. NE, with his friend, Father Michael Shea, Celebrant.
