BLEA -- Michael Blea was born May 5, 1945 in Albuquerque. A native New Mexican, he passed away Thursday, July 12, 2007 in Albuquerque. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Tillie Blea and by his brother, Gilbert Blea. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie; son, Michael John; grandsons, Jason, Brandon and Jerome; sister, Betty Ortega and husband Manuel; brothers, Jr., Danny and James; sister, Nellie; many other relatives and friends who loved and will miss him. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Therese Catholic Church, 4th and Mildred NW, on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. I was a classmate of Michael Blea since elementary school at Stronghurst Elementary. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. It is always special remembering the classmates you knew way back in elementary school, and Mike was one of them. My thoughts go out to his family.
