Eleanor J. Forte passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. Eleanor is survived by her aunt, Sister Natalia O.S.B., a sister, Clare Forte and a brother, Charles Forte. In addition, a niece and nephew, Veronica Stuart (Mike) with children. Clare and Micheal; Brian Martinez (Jennifer) with children, Jake and Samantha. Eleanor was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, March 28, 1946. She received her degree in architecture but worked in social services for the Community Outreach Program for the Deaf and Blind of NM and AZ for 24 years. A rosary will be held at John XXIII in Albuquerque on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 7:30 pm. Her funeral services will be at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi in Santa Fe at 10:00 am, Thursady, March 31, 2011 followed by burial at Rosario Cemetary. Memorial contributions may be directed to your favorite breast cancer research institute.
