
Gonzales -- Lorenzo Gonzales, 55, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque died, Monday, October 30, 2000. He is survived by his fiancé, Sally Maestas; mother, Sylveria (Sylvia) Gonzales; two sisters, Mabel Henderickson and husband, Ray and Angie Soto and husband, Sam; three brothers, Harold Gonzales and wife, Jimmie, Albert Gonzales and wife, Juin and Felix Gonzales and wife, Gloria; many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles; five stepchildren; and twelve grandchildren. He was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church and graduated from Valley High School. Mr. Gonzales was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and Desert Storm, currently serving as Chief Senior Master Sargent in the U.S.A.F. National Guard. L.J. enjoyed golfing and restoring cars. Rosary will be recited, Thursday, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary-Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW with Joseph and Josie Baca reciting. Mass will celebrated Friday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd. S.E. Rio Rancho with Father Paul Juniet, O.F.M. Celebrant. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Gutierrez, Herb Herrera, Philip Archuleta, David Chavez, Lawrence Martinez and Flory Gonzales. Friends may visit French Mortuary-Westside, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW, Thursday from 2:00 p.m. till rosary.
