MCCOY -- Vangie McCoy, "Mama Vangie", age 61, went to rest with the Lord Monday, October 1, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Jessie McCoy and her brother, Robert. Vangie had four children; Elizabeth Gonzales and husband Gerardo, Richard McCoy, Georgia Marquez, Betty Trujillo and husband, Modesto; 18 grandchildren who she loved dearly; nine great-grandchildren who were her world; two brothers, Gregory McCoy and wife, Grace and Arthur McCoy; one sister, Mary Jane Lujan and husband, Richard; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 4th and Alameda NW. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 5, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery off Coors and Arenal SW. Pallbearers will be Nick McCoy, Matt McCoy, Matthew Morrison, Jesus Chavaria, Raul Garcia, Daniel Chavez, and Andy Lujan.
