Lived in 22+ cities across the US and traveled to over 31 countries on business/vacations since leaving high school and serving 5 years in the USNavy. I visit Albuquerque on a fairly frequent basis, but call New York City my home the past 10 years.
Let's see if I can remember events/accomplishments :
*Graduated Valley High School (that was a biggie).
*USNavy for 5 years and never saw a ship! (can't tell you what I did or have to shoot you) I also worked at Los Alamos and Sandia National Labs if that's a hint.
*Sued the USNavy and won, so we could have Beer machines in the barracks overseas. :-)
*Hot Air Balloon Pilot since 1974, with my own Balloon "Tequila Sunrise " N2411Z
*Ran the Original Breakfast Buritto family food stand at the Albuquerque Intl Hot Air Balloon Festival for 33years. We were selling breakfast Burittos before McDonald's or Blake's. Since 1973/74. Not there anymore:-( .
*interviewed on Good Morning America during Ballon festival in 1982 for the best darn Breakfast Buritto ever!
*Married my Beautiful wife in 1979.
*Brought our beautiful daughter Jessica into the world in 1981.
*Traveled the USA and world 1969 till present. Going to Quebec in November for 17 day cruise to Bahamas. The world never runs out of places to visit. Making up for non-shipboard time in the Navy, like this way better not so much work.

*Attended the 50 Year Reunion of Valley High School

Happy belated Birthday to you you, David H...!
I haven't been on the site for a while so missed the event...
Looks like you & I may be the last two David's in the room? So the day approaching when one of us can be called Just David.. lol...!!!
Quit frankly I'm surprised to have made it to 76.99!! Survived 3 heart attacks, 3 strokes, and diabetes and, and etc... From Agent Orange exposure in late 60's. But still ambulatory, pretty much see whatever I'm looking at, about to become a Grandpa for the 1st time! There is life after 77...?! I guess so & now I need another 10 or 15+ years to enjoy my NEW grand child coming in March. Just when I thought it was all behind me... Oh well gotta get up and move on down the hill of life....!
Have a great Holiday season...! Go figure, 3days to my birthday & I got Covid! Mosthly behind me so crossing my fingers I turn Positive before or on the 25th! Hard to catch a break at 77...! But one never knows...!

Hello Pat.... Yes I'm still here in New York. A rough couple years health wise but I'm still going strong!
Just found out I'm gonna be a Grandpa next March (1st time!), so I have to pull it together so I can enjoy the next few years...! I was just in Albuquerque a month ago visiting family... I know have have 100+ neices & nephews... Yea I know, must be the water there...!
I'll update my profile soon... Thank you and the others for yet another Réunion plan...! I will make an effort to attend...!

This was my Hot Air Balloon, flew it in the Albuquerque Intl Hot Air Balloon Festival from 1977 for 20+ years. It was also known as the Official Digital Hot Air Balloon.
