I'm so sad to hear this news about Irwin. So glad we spent time at the 50th reunion and at the 20t if memory serves me well. My fondest memory of Irwin were in 9th grade at Garfield on the football team. Irwin would wear his silk jacket from Japan and we would flirt with the girls from other schools when we had away games. I always looked to Irwin as a mentor as at that time, he was so much older than I, at least 18 months. We will all miss you Irwin!

Thank you for informing us about Irwin's passing.  When he attended our 50th year class reunion he was exactly the same kind, sweet person that he was in high school.  Sending my sincere condolences to his family.

Wow, what a shock.  Irwin and his family lived 3 houses away while we were at Valley.  I did have an opportunity to visit with him at the reunion, in fact he made a point of looking me up and coming over.  He was a favorite in High School - always so friendly and funny.

Ed, your comments were right on.  Glad you talked him into the reunion.  I am sitting here stunned and teary eyed.  My sincerest condolences to his family and loved ones.
